Just days shy of its third year anniversary, MundoFox is no more. Originally founded as a joint venture between Colombia’s RCN Television and U.S.-based Fox Entertainment Group through its Fox International Channels (FIC) division, the network has switched names to MundoMax. Just two weeks ago, FIC announced it had sold its stake in MundoFox to RCN. However, this change was done so abruptly that even some of MundoFox's affilliates weren't aware of the change nor given prior notice.
